Recorded in Kiev, Ukraine, Walter Saul’s CD of orchestral music is now edited. Very soon, it will go into production, and then we look forward to sharing this project with all of you. We have seen God’s hand in this process every step of the way. I have put together a little “sample” of what you will find on the CD, small parts of several pieces. The first piece, “Kiev 2014: Rhapsody for Oboe and Orchestra,” features Rong-Huey Liu on the oboe. Second, you will hear a snippet of Walter’s “Violin Concerto,” with James Buswell on solo violin. The bouncy and delightful “Overture for the Jubilee” is the third piece you will sample. And, a tiny portion of the “Christmas Symphony” closes out this tiny selection. All four pieces feature the National Symphony of Ukraine, with Ted Kuchar conducting.
