“Light of the Stars” is a solo exhibition of Ann Harwell’s Astronomy Quilts. The show opened on November 22, 2015 at Westmoreland Congregational UCC, 1 Westmoreland Circle, Bethesda, Maryland.
There will be a special concert and reception on December 27, 2015, featuring music inspired by Ann’s fabric artwork. The name of the music is “Quiltings,” an original composition by Dr. Walter Saul, music professor at Fresno Pacific University in Fresno, California. This is a multi-media presentation, featuring Ann’s quilts in a video as the music plays. The music will begin at 7 p.m., and will be performed by the composer. Ann Harwell and Walter Saul will be available at the reception.
